Percussionist and two-time Grammy nominee Quentin Baxter '98 has joined the faculty of the Arts Management Program and will serve as the new host of the "IN THE MIX" speaker series.
A discussion titled "Sound Journalism: The Art of Writing About Music" will take place on Oct. 23, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. in the Simons Center for the Arts Recital Hall.
The monthly music series connects College of Charleston students to music industry leaders. Spring 2015 dates are February 16, March 16, and April 20.
The fall kickoff of the monthly series is August 25, 2014 and features Richard “Gus” Gusler (Manager for Hootie & the Blowfish and Darius Rucker) and Doc McGhee (Attorney for Hootie & the Blowfish and Darius Rucker).
