The Cougars defeated Long Beach State 4-2 and will next face Texas Tech in a best-of-three weekend series beginning Saturday, June 7, 2014.

The Cougars (41-17) are the No. 4 seed in the regional and will be joined by host Florida (40-21), second-seeded Long Beach State (32-24) and third-seeded North Carolina (34-25).
This is the fourth Colonial Athletic Association championship for the College of Charleston in its inaugural year. It is the Cougars' sixth appearance in the NCAA Baseball Championship.
