holiday wreath at CofCIt’s the most wonderful time of the year – and that’s cause for celebration! In fact, for College of Charleston faculty and staff, it’s cause for multiple celebrations!

In the spirit of the holidays, President Andrew T. Hsu and his wife invite CofC faculty and staff to a holiday drop-in at the President’s House and a holiday party at the Silcox Center. Tickets are required for both the events.

The drop-in will be held at the President’s House, 6 Glebe Street, on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, from 1 to 3 p.m., and is for faculty and staff only. Employees may bring a guest to the holiday party, which will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6.

Faculty and staff must pick up their tickets in person from the President’s Office in Randolph Hall by Monday, Dec. 2. The office is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets will not be issued to individuals sent on someone else’s behalf.

The holiday party is limited to 1,000 guests. Faculty and staff are asked not to claim tickets to the holiday party unless they are absolutely certain that they will attend.

Faculty, staff and the campus community are also invited to the 34th annual Sottile House Tree Lighting at the corner of Green Way and College Way on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. With carols, refreshments, holiday activities for children and even a visit from Santa, this tradition has something for everyone. No ticket is required for this event. In case of inclement weather, it will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
