The College of Charleston has announced that Gioconda “Gia” Quesada, former chair of the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management (SCIM) in the School of Business, has been named the College’s assistant provost of assessment. Her new post took effect Monday, Feb. 17, 2020.
Quesada joined the College as professor of SCIM in 2003, serving as the associate director of the Global Business Resource Center for the 2012–13 academic year and as faculty coordinator of general education from 2013 to 2018. She has served as chair of the SCIM since 2018, a post that Chen-Huei Chou, associate professor of SCIM, will assume with Quesada’s new appointment.
