College of Charleston President Andrew T. Hsu, in a series of virtual town hall meetings this week, addressed concerns and questions from staff, faculty, students, and parents and families regarding the College’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Few of us could have imagined just a couple short weeks ago that we would be holding this town hall at all, let alone holding it online with each of us logging in remotely from our homes and offices,” said Hsu during the town hall for parents and families. “These are truly unprecedented times.”
During each virtual meeting, Hsu, along with members from across the College’s administration from academics and information technology to student affairs and human resources, answered questions about how the institution plans to keep students, faculty and staff safe and supported during this time.
