We’ve all learned a lot over the past year – discovering and developing new skills that we never imagined we’d ever need. And, while many of our newfound abilities were born out of necessity, we’ve taken the opportunity to make ourselves better, more well-rounded people.

And now, thanks to a partnership between the College of Charleston and LinkedIn Learning, CofC faculty and staff have more opportunities for professional development and self-improvement than ever. Employees now have free access to thousands of expert-led videos on hundreds of topics through the LinkedIn Learning online educational platform – and they may access them whenever, wherever.

The Division of Information Technology (IT) wants to help faculty and staff learn how to use and navigate LinkedIn Learning to the fullest. During the month of March 2021, IT will offer two workshops demonstrating how to access the platform; the differences between learning paths, courses and videos; navigating the site; and how easy it is to use LinkedIn Learning as a way to add to your skill set and enjoy lifelong learning. The following 30-minute sessions are scheduled:

  • March 10 at 9:30 a.m. (virtual)
  • March 25 at 2:30 p.m. (virtual)
