Faculty and staff who did not purchase a parking permit for the 2020–21 academic year or who purchased a part-time parking permit may now obtain a permit or exchange a part-time permit for a regular permit.
Employees who need to buy a permit or exchange a part-time permit for a regular permit should go to Campus Services HQ at 162 Calhoun St. between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Submitting a parking application via email will not reserve your permit; your assignment will be made based on spaces available when you come to get your permit.
Available permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis to employees. Permit prices will be prorated based on date of issuance. Parking spaces in surface lots that became vacant in August 2020 when some employees opted not to renew their permits for the 2020–21 academic year have now been filled. If an employee chose not to renew their permit in August and now requires parking, their new lot/garage assignment will be made on a space-available basis.
When visiting Campus Services HQ to obtain a permit, employees should park in one of the parking garages or metered spaces (normal fees and rates will apply) and then move their vehicles once they have their permits.
Reminder: Permits are required in all College of Charleston surface lots. Vehicles parked without a permit will be subject to ticketing.
