As the city’s largest producer of year-round arts events, the College of Charleston School of the Arts (SOTA) is the artistic heartbeat of Charleston. And, whether you’re a culture vulture or just looking for something fun to do that won’t break the bank, SOTA has you covered with a wonderful array of events that are free or discounted for CofC faculty and staff. And it’s easier than ever to get your tickets, too!
That’s because the College’s new George Street Box Office (GSBO) has streamlined the process for ticketed campus events. Now it’s simple to purchase season subscriptions and tickets, select preferred seating, explore flex ticketing and more. GSBO staff is available to help patrons navigate the system by phone at 843.953.GSBO (4726), by email or in person at the Sottile Theatre, 44 George St.
The Department of Theatre and Dance‘s 2021–22 season brings important conversations to the forefront and challenges audiences to think about their choices, relationships and what it means to be part of a community while navigating how to live your best life.
