The College of Charleston will hold a virtual town hall for students and families on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at 5 p.m. to discuss how the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic will impact the spring semester.

“As we settle back into our work and school routines, I know many of you have questions and concerns about how the upcoming spring semester will be affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the omicron variant,” CofC President Andrew T. Hsu said in a message to the campus community.

To keep students and their families informed about the College’s plans, Hsu – along with members of the College’s Senior Leadership Team and COVID-19 Leadership Team – will hold a town hall for students and families to share information and answer questions.

The virtual town hall will be conducted using the Microsoft Teams Live Event video conferencing platform. Here is the event link:

College officials will answer both pre-submitted and live questions during the town hall. You may submit questions in advance by sending an email to covid19@cofc.edu. For those unable to watch the town halls live, recordings of the events will be made available afterward on the Back on the Bricks website.
