The College of Charleston Faculty/Staff Dependent Scholarship application period is open for the 2024–25 academic year through March 15, 2024.

Funded through the College of Charleston Foundation, the Faculty/Staff Dependent Scholarship is open to the dependent children and spouses of permanent faculty/staff who are currently employed by the College and are seeking their first undergraduate bachelor’s degree. The amount of each scholarship is up to $2,500 per year and is disbursed half in the fall and half in the spring terms. Scholarships are not renewable; however, recipients may reapply for consideration each year.

Recipients must be enrolled as full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students at the College of Charleston to receive scholarship disbursements. To meet the academic requirements for eligibility, applicants must have a minimum cumulative CofC GPA of at least 3.0 and be meeting the institution’s Satisfactory Academic Progress standards.

The application is housed in the Cougar Scholarship Awarding System (CSAS): All Opportunities – Cougar Scholarship Award System (academicworks.com). To apply, students simply must complete the general application and indicate therein that they are the dependent of a staff or faculty member. The application period for the 2024–25 academic year will close March 15, 2024.
