Whether you’re a parent hoping to get a glimpse into the life of your student, an alum reminiscing about the good old days or a student checking out the latest scene, the College of Charleston has made it easier for you to enjoy 24-hour-a-day access to campus with six strategically placed high-definition webcams.

With live, streaming video, the cameras provide a great service – to prospective students, who can see classes meeting outside on the Cistern Yard or observe student organizations and activities in the Cougar Mall; to parents, who can watch their students interact between classes in the Beatty Center; and even to faculty and staff, who can check the traffic situation on Calhoun Street before heading out for the day. Indeed, the webcams provide a great service to us all, because now Cougars across the globe can experience the excitement and beauty of the College of Charleston – anytime, anywhere!

The latest additions to the College’s views include the Cistern Yard, Cougar Mall, Campus View and Northeast View cameras. Check them out!

Cistern Yard

The Cistern Yard camera shows the Cistern in front of Randolph Hall, the College of Charleston’s signature building. This area is the heart of the College of Charleston campus, serving as a green space for generations of students and as a venue for convocation, spring commencement, concerts and other events.

Cougar Mall

The Cougar Mall camera faces the Calhoun Street entrance to campus, which leads to the outdoor common area located between Maybank Hall and the Robert Scott Small Building.

Campus View

The Campus View camera is a bird’s-eye view of campus looking south from the top of the BellSouth Building with Calhoun Street in the foreground.
