On Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, Ed Pope, vice president of human resources, issued the following announcement to College of Charleston employees:
Good afternoon,
I am pleased to inform you that the Office of Human Resources is expanding the staff telecommuting program campus-wide effective today, January 24th.
To learn more about the requirements, we invite you to explore our telecommuting website. There you will find information about the application process, policy, training, eligibility, along with flexible work schedules. If you are eligible and interested in pursuing a telecommuting arrangement, we strongly encourage you do discuss acceptable telecommuting options with your supervisor prior to submitting an application. You should also review the policy and complete the training module in CougarED LMS to help ensure all components of the program are understood.
Telecommuting applications will only be accepted via the online DocuSign link available through the telecommuting website.
We encourage you to address any questions you may have through your supervisor.
