The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has recognized the College of Charleston’s athletics marketing and external operations team with the title of NACMA Group 2 Marketing Team of the Year.
“Winning Marketing Team of the Year is a testament to the hard work by everyone in our department over several years,” says Jessica Rodgers, director of marketing for the Department of Athletics. “It is such an honor to be recognized among our peers at other schools across the country.”
Athletics directorย Matt Robertsย agrees.
“It is always great to be recognized, but it is most special when your peers acknowledge your success,” he says.ย “I am so thrilled for our external team for this well-deserved and hard-earned award.”
Presented by PrestoSports at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics convention in Orlando on June 12, 2023, the NACMA “Best Of” Awards Program grants the Marketing Team of the Year title in three different groups, based on the size and resources of the institution.
The College earned the title based on its distinction in many areas, including multi-platform branding campaigns, year-over-year revenue increase, single game attendance/sell-out campaigns, digital media engagement and community engagement, among others.
“Our goal every day is to provide the best possible fan experience,” says Rodgers, “and this award only motivates us more to keep doing that!”
