With final exams for the fall 2019 semester about to begin at the College of Charleston, President Andrew T. Hsu wanted to offer students some musical motivation with the following campus message shared on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019:

Having received so much positive feedback about my midterms playlist, I’m sharing a final exams study playlist with you. This playlist is much longer than my first one and features songs from my family and me as well as many contributions from the campus community. You’ll notice there are some new songs on there, some old, some slow, some fast, some with lyrics and some without. The playlist begins with Grammy-nominated band Ranky Tanky, which boasts three College of Charleston alumni as members. Another song on the playlist is one you heard during the Cougar Night Lights show.
