The Staff Advisory Committee to the President (SAC) is hosting a series of listening sessions throughout the semester to gather feedback from College of Charleston staff. The first listening session is Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Randolph Hall, room 106D. Staff members are invited to stop by at any point in that timeframe to talk with members of SAC – and are welcome to bring their lunch, as well.

Designed to provide a comfortable setting for small-group and one-on-one conversations, these informal sessions open yet another line of communication between SAC and CofC staff members, who may also present their questions, ideas and concerns to SAC by emailing sac@cofc.edu or submitting an anonymous Staff Input Form.

“SAC is consistently trying to gather feedback from all staff members at the College of Charleston, so that we can better focus our efforts on what staff members want and need,” says Josh Bloodworth, vice chair of SAC and associate director of accreditation and assessment in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. “These informal staff listening sessions will hopefully be yet another way SAC can gather staff members’ thoughts, ideas, issues and solutions. We want everyone to feel comfortable giving feedback, and ideally these sessions can do just that.”

Future listening sessions will be announced as soon as dates are available.
