Clyde's Cougar CardThe College of Charleston’s new Cougar Cards – which feature both contactless and swipe functions – will be distributed to CofC employees starting Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020.

Faculty and staff may refer to the Cougar Card Distribution List to determine whether they should obtain their new cards from their office/departments or from Campus Services HQ, located at 162 Calhoun Street.

In the Cougar Card Distribution List, employees should first find their division/office/department and then refer to the “Card Retrieval Option” column for their area’s distribution plan. The options include:

  • Delivery: Cards will be delivered to the office/department; employees will get their Cougar Card from the representative listed in the “Contact Person” column.
  • Pick-Up – Office Rep: Cards will be delivered to the office/department; employees will get their Cougar Card from the representative listed in the “Contact Person” column.
  • Pick-Up – Individual: Employees are responsible for picking up their own Cougar Cards from Campus Services HQ, located at 162 Calhoun Street.

Please note that, once employees have their new Cougar Cards, the old one will no longer work. The new cards are vertical, and holes cannot be punched into it; the orientation of lanyards may need to be changed. Employees’ existing photos from their previous Cougar Card have been used for their new cards; if they prefer a new photo, they may email Campus Services HQ at campusservices@cofc.edu.
