Guidance on Residence Hall Visitation:ย

The current guidelinesย on residence-hall visitation will continue to allow any currently enrolledโ€ฏCofC student to be signed into aโ€ฏresidence hallโ€ฏas a guest.โ€ฏThe current restriction on non-CofC student guests will remain in place.ย ย

Updated Guidance on Indoorโ€ฏEvent Capacity:โ€ฏย

Effective January 10, 2022, indoor events and meetingsย will be limited toย 30ย peopleย or the fire-code capacity of the space (whichever is a smaller number)ย atโ€ฏall College-sponsored gatheringsโ€ฏ(on or off campus) for all non-academicย meetings.ย ย

All other requirements for indoor gatheringsโ€ฏremainโ€ฏin place as indicated:โ€ฏย

  • Face coverings are required, and social distancingโ€ฏis strongly encouraged.โ€ฏโ€ฏย
  • A non-student employee of the College mustโ€ฏbe present (in person or virtually) to help manage the event.โ€ฏย
  • Eating and drinking should be very limited. Food should be pre-packaged, and we encourage providing food and drink in a โ€œto-goโ€ format as guests leave the event.โ€ฏย
  • When possibleโ€ฏand to minimize direct contact, events/gatherings should not include mingling or reception activities.โ€ฏย
  • Maintain a list of attendees in case follow-up is needed for contact-tracing purposes.โ€ฏย
