What a day it was! CofC Day, the official launch of the College of Charleston’s yearlong celebration of the 250th anniversary of the institution’s founding and its first-ever day of giving, definitely made history.
The 24-hour giving campaign was a huge success, raising more than $5 million, results that far surpassed the campaign’s $1 million goal. A total of 1,326 donors gave during the campaign, including 618 alumni and 388 faculty and staff.
From campus activities to a new state historical marker near Porter’s Lodge to a block party and exclusive performance by visual DJ AFISHAL in Cistern Yard, CofC Day was one to remember.
