Critical Conversations: ‘Two Women Bridge the Racial Divide’
The College invites the community to "Two Women Bridge the Racial Divide in a Civil Rights Journey" – a conversation with Polly Sheppard, a survivor of the Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church massacre, and Margaret Seidler, a descendent of slave traders. Their inspiring story of growing together and confronting the past as they toured the South's civil rights sites together last summer shows that, together, we can shape a better future.
