Each year, the College of Charleston hires new professors and this year's crop of 60 represents a wide array of research and teaching expertise.

A professor of communication at the College since 2004, McGee has served in several academic and administrative posts at the College, including six years as chair of the Department of Communication and four years as Chief of Staff.
