In celebration of National Poetry Month, Holy City Youth Slam is hosting a poetry workshop and a poetry slam for young poets on April 25, 2015, at the Charleston Charter School for Math and Science. Founded by Matthew Foley '08, Holy City Youth Slam is a spoken-word poetry program that aims to empower Charleston youth.
The College has more than 220 organized student groups and clubs. Some of the newest are the Cougar Skydiving Club, the CyberSecurity Club, the Paintball Club, the Film Makers Club, and the Cheese Club.
