Unni Krishnan Karunakara, a Senior Fellow at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale University, will visit the College on March 3, 2016, to discuss Syria’s refugee crisis and its broader impacts.
The workshop on Feb. 20, 2016, will teach young women some of the skills they will need to enter politics. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with S.C. State Sen. Mia McLeod and former Charleston mayoral candidate Ginny Deerin.
